My name is 'Mr. Dave' Patterson.
I was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, where I was raised in
the Catholic Church.
I left the church as a teenager, in search of some truth.
In 1992, I was liberated from
the frozen north, and moved to Garden City/Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
I attended Coastal Carolina University, where
I met the people instrumental in leading me to Christ.
I was given a Bible on the day I was saved, and I have read
God's Word nearly every day since (to the glory of God).
Each day I read and studied, I discovered something
new and exciting, which led me to read and study more.
I began attending Myrtle Beach Community Church, now called
Beach Church, some time later and still go there now.
I have felt led to use my God-given love for Scripture to
teach others how to read, study, and love the Bible.
