In the beginning man fell and brought sin and death into the world, injuring his (and our) relationship
with God (Genesis 3). In the end, God has promised to one day repair and restore everything back to His design.
God repaired our individual relationships with Him through Christ’s first coming. He will restore the world’s
relationship with Him at Christ’s second coming. Until then, our world is getting worse, becoming more dark and evil.
In the book of Revelation, God describes our world in its ultimate state of decay, when He will
no longer hold back His wrath against man and Satan.
But then in Revelation 19, the Light shines
as the Son returns and carries out God’s promised restoration.
Our happy ending.
Our eternal home.
Now the vision is ending and the author receives
some final instructions and some words of hope and encouragement.
Enjoy!

Here is this week’s study passage.
Please pray before you begin.
Revelation 22:6-10 (Message)
6 The Angel said to me, "These are dependable and accurate
words, every one. The God and Master of the spirits of the prophets sent his Angel to show his servants what must take place,
and soon. And tell them,
7 'Yes, I'm on my way!' Blessed be the one who keeps the
words of the prophecy of this book."
8 I, John, saw all these things with my own eyes, heard
them with my ears. Immediately when I heard and saw, I fell on my face to worship at the feet of the Angel who laid it all
out before me.
9 He objected, "No you don't! I'm a servant just like you and your
companions, the prophets, and all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!"
10 The Angel
continued, "Don't seal the words of the prophecy of this book; don't put it away on the shelf. Time is just about
up.

Revelation 22:6-10 (NKJV)
6 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the
Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.
7 “Behold,
I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 Now I, John, saw and heard
these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
9
Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and
of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of
the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
