Why would I search for a word from the Lord when I have ‘The’, more sure Word, given for the perfecting
of the saints, The Inspired Word of God, the scriptures? Just remember, there is not one command to listen to God outside
of scripture. We have been commanded not to searching for a sign (conformation). Jesus proclaimed that it was a perverse generation
who sought after signs and wonders.
God Told Me? (part1) 1Peter 1:16-21 Listen
to Pastor Mike Abendroth of Bethlehem

of hearing from God. Answers are found in the Word.
God Told Me? (part 1)

What is Sin? 90% obedience equals 100% disobedience. We will never understand why
Jesus died until we understand the severity of sin in our own life. Only after we understand the severity of our own sin will
we ever understand the Grace. Anyone who would try to put another’s sin on a sin scale with other people’s sins
at a higher level then their own is only trying to diminish the severity of their own sin. I heard a preacher say, 90% obedience
equals 100% disobedience. One infraction and we have missed the mark. That is the point of the Law.
The Law was written to show that ALL have sinned and come short of His glory. Listen to John MacArthur of Grace to You as
he explains Christ's Triumphant Death 1 Peter 3:18-22 and what was accomplished on your behalf. Read | Download High Quality | Low Quality Copyright 2008

Do You Think Of The Bible The Way Jesus Did?
There is not one command to listen
to God outside of scripture. So why would we search for a word or sign from outside of the written Word. We
have been commanded not to searching for a sign (conformation) by Jesus himself. Jesus proclaimed that it was a perverse generation
who sought after signs and wonders. Jesus did not make known himself known on the road to Emmaus after his resurrection when
...”it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. But
their eyes were holden that they should not know him.” (Luke 24:15-16)... “And beginning at Moses and all the
prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” (Luke 24:27)... “And it
came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were
opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. And they said one to another; did not our heart burn within
us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?” (Luke 24:30-32) After a short while
Jesus stood in the midst of all eleven apostles ... “And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you,
while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets,
and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,” Jesus
used the Word. Do You Think Of The Bible The Way Jesus Did?
(Luke 24:44-45) Listen
as Pastor Mike Abendroth of Bethlehem Bible Church explains the importance of trusting the Word and using the Word as Jesus used the word.
