Never are you more like the Lord then when you forgive. The church is a reconciling
community… We treat each other like children, we care for each other like children and protect each other like children,
discipline each other like children and we forgive each other like children. [The church] is not a good place to sin, because
you are going to get confronted … that is suppose to be what we do….

Breaking Free From the Barrenness of Bitterness Listen to Pastor Damian Kyle explain how the best friend
and a counsel to King David allowed bitterness to take control of his life. Ahithophel had the right to be infuriated and
to be bitter. Ahithophel was the grandfather of Bathsheba. Bathsheba’s husband had been murdered by the king. Ahithophel’s
bitterness leads him to try to destroy the king. The bitterness grows so great that when Ahithophel was not allowed to kill
King David, Ahithophel committed suicide.
Ahithophel knew nothing about Nathan’s confrontation
“’David’, you are the man.’” Ahithophel knew nothing about David writing Psalms 51 to be read
and sung before the congregation.
I, Sam Horner, beg
of you, Please don’t allow bitterness to destroy your life. Ahithophel had a right to be infuriated and bitter as you
may have. Please allow Pastor Damian Kyle’s teaching, “Breaking Free From the Barrenness of Bitterness”
to minister healing to you.

Heartbreak of a Friend's Betrayal -- 2 Samuel 17:23 Listen as Pastor Damian Kyle of Calvary Chapel Modesto tells how counsel from someone who has a bent and twisted agenda of revenge will show itself to be
poor counsel.Ahithophel, David’s’
best friend was a legend of wisdom who was poisoned by bitterness. The problem of trying to bring about vengeances on another
can open a floodgate of death when opportunity is presented. Anyone who has a bent on vengeances will give
counsel to others from their own heart and out of their heart their mouth will speak that which will pollute the counsel to
the one seeking counsel. As you listen, Pastor Kyle explains, God is totally intolerant of Unforgivenes. Unforgivenes cost
Ahithophel his life. Heartbreak of a Friend's Betrayal -- 2 Samuel 17:23

Conquering Illicit Passion Listen as pastor-teacher Dave Wyrtzen of Midlothian Bible Church and Truth Encounter teaches on Conquering Illicit Passion
The
Sixties proclaimed the so called liberation message of Free Love. Today we are living out the consequences of this rejection
of biblical morals. Broken families, broken emotions, broken bodies—these are the signs that a spirit of lawlessness
has taken over our land. There is hope! The sweet singer of Psalm 23 became an adulterer, liar and murderer but eventually
found his way back home.

Heartbreak Over a Rebellious Child -- 2 Samuel 18:32-33 Listen as Pastor Damian Kyle of Calvary Chapel Modesto tells how far one can go when driven by rebellion and bitterness. Pastor Damian tells of the heartaches
and tears that King David had over the problems of rape, murder and rebellion that were a part of his children’s lives’.
Absalom in his own mind had every reason for the murder of his step brother and his rebellion towards his father. Sometimes
rebellious children will use the sins of their parents as an excuse for their own wickedness but God will not allow it. Ultimately
God stepped in to put a stop to the rebellious one. Heartbreak Over a Rebellious Child -- 2 Samuel 18:32-33
Psalms
40 is the prayer that David prayed concerning Ahithophel and Absalom after David had confessed his sin and been forgiven.
Ahithophel and Absalom both held unforgivenes and great bitterness. God answered King David’s prayer. Psalms 40:13-16 (NIV) 13 Be pleased, O LORD, to save
me; O LORD, come quickly to help me. 14 May all who seek to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire
my ruin be turned back in disgrace. 15 May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" be appalled at their own shame. 16 But
may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "The LORD be exalted!"

How can I forgive when they owe me so much? Unforgivenes always forgets that it owes a billion dollars
in personal sin dept and tries to exact a few pennies of dept from others. How many times do we have to forgive others? The
problem is compounded when we do not go and try to bring the one who has sinned to a restored place in the body. Listen to pastor-teacher Dave Wyrtzen of Midlothian Bible Church and Truth Encounter answers the question, How Many Times Do I Forgive? Matthew 18:15-35
