Is it legal to have a copy made of my old recordings?
When making a CD copy please remember that copyright laws
do apply. It is perfectly legal for an individual to copy or have someone else make a single copy for his or her own use,
as long as the original source of the copy is owned by the individual. One copy in wav form and/or mp3 form. It is not legal
to make multiple copies of commercial produced music. “Reclaimed Audio or Reclaimed Music Plus” will
not make a copy of a commercial produced LP, cassette, 8 track or reel to reel tape with the intent of the customer
making multiple copies.
“Reclaimed Audio and Reclaimed Music Plus” assumes that the customer has gained a legal copy of any
LP cassette or 8 track or reel to reel tape sent to “LP to CD Plus”.
Unless you own a commercial copyright, commercial use of your new copy
is illegal. Reclaimed Audio and Reclaimed Music Plus will only make one copy in a Wave form (for replay on CD
Players) and one copy in MP3 form (to listen on an mp3 player or to transfer to your computer, iPod etc.) for your own personal
use.
